2017 was a huge success for Angels on the Move! 2018 is all about rebranding. Now that Madison and Jillian have both graduated from college, they felt it was time to realign their mission with their passions. Take a look around the website to learn about our new mission and programs. We look forward to seeing how we grow in 2018 and beyond! Our Programs
AOTM ScholarshipAngels on the Move sponsors an annual scholarship. For the last 10 years winners came from the Long Beach City College Upward Bound Program. However, going forward, the scholarship will be open to all students 18 years of age or younger. The Angels on the Move Scholarship Program is now in its eleventh year and continues to take a place in helping students realize their dream of attending college. The annual scholarship is based on academic achievement as well as extracurricular activities and can be put towards any kind of educational experience. It is through knowledge that today’s youth has the power to change the future. Be sure to sign up for our email list and get notified when applications become available. |
toy driveAngels on the Move has historically held an annual holiday gift campaign. Toys, clothes and necessities are provided to children in the community. Angels on the Move organizes local families each year who work together to gather gifts which are then donated to children in need. The holidays are often difficult for underprivileged families and can be especially difficult for the children of those families. Angels on the Move provides a spot of joy and happiness during the holidays. Past recipients of our toy drive campaign include Orangewood Children's Home, Laura's House and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. If you have any recommendations for donation locations please let us know! |
Resource PacksResource packs contain a toothbrush, toothpaste, baby wipes, a refillable water container, basic first aid care, socks, gloves, and a blanket. Each of these resource packs are meant for those who are either without a home or do not have a reliable one. Every bit of aid contributes to a more supportive, helpful society. Resource packs are a new program that will be launched in fall/winter of 2018. We are very excited to bring this program to life! Please use our email if you have any suggestions for donation locations, as we are always looking to form relationships with new recipients of our donations! |

newsToy Drive
Our 2018 toy drive is now in motion! We will be donating again to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Santa Ana. This year, Tanya Jones will be heading up a branch of AOTM in Austin. The toy collection will take place at both Slab BBQ locations, and toys will be donated to foster youth at Foster Village and refugees at International Restoration Church. Be sure to check out our Facebook and Instagram for information about donations.

newsResource Packs
We feel that resource packs are a useful, easy to move collection of essentials for those who do not have a home. Access to shelter is unfortunately not always available to some people, and with resource packs our aim is to help improve their quality life in whatever way we can, as well as a way that will be easy to transport. Influence on socioeconomic issues seems unattainable to many, but at AOTM we believe that every little bit helps move towards a cohesive improvement for our fellow citizens.
